Planning Approval in Chelsea
We're delighted to have been granted planning permission by Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council to proceed with the addition of a new rear and lower ground floor side extension to a period terraced house in the Sloane/Stanley Conservation Area.
After a successful appeal, we convinced the council that – as much of the new structure was below ground – the development would have no visual impact from street level and would not damage the ash tree on the adjacent pavement. Neighbours were respectfully consulted and approved of our plans.
The extensions will increase floor space by over 30 sqm and will provide room for a new home study and office area for our clients. Despite this significant increase, the original quality and character of the house is retained, if not enhanced.
