Planning approval in St. John’s Wood

Saturday, December 27, 2014

Dyer Grimes Architecture has planning approval for a double basement property in St. John’s Wood.
We’re delighted to have been granted planning permission by Wesminster council to proceed with a new build on Grove End Road, including a luxury double basement.
Such basements have been banned in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Under pressure to follow suit, two councillors were lobbying for its rejection. Nonetheless, we argued the case for the build and won approval from the committee.
The new build will include a dedicated ground floor for professional life, first and second floors for bedrooms and a double basement housing a kitchen, media room, swimming pool and sauna.
