Richmond renovation and extension Montague Road

Our latest project is yet another renovation and extension of one of Richmond’s beautiful, high quality family homes.

Fun was high on our clients’ list of design objectives. A brand new basement floor will host a games and cinema room, with enough space for both a full-sized tennis table and pool table. And after they work up a sweat, they’ll be able to unwind in the sauna.

Entertainment extends into the garden, where an external kitchen and fireplace will create the perfect environment for hosting friends and family, with a sheltered eating area to make sure that when rain starts, the fun doesn’t have to stop.

The ground floor will be more practical, with storage a high priority. A generous utility and boot room will make sure that sports equipment, school bags and all the other mess of daily life is kept away from the new open plan kitchen and family room which will make up the rear of the house.

Reconfiguration of the upper floors will make better use of the loft with new bedrooms, allowing most of the first floor to be dedicated to a master bedroom, dressing room, bathroom and walk-in wardrobe.

All the above is subject to planning approval, but we are confident with our string of successes in Richmond Conservation Areas that we will be able to start work next year on this family home designed for making memories.
